CranioSacral

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) was pioneered and developed by osteopathic physician John E. Upledger.

It is a gentle form of body work that can facilitate positive change in your body and your life. It helps release tension held deep within the tissues.

With my hands placed directly on your body, I facilitate movement within the craniosacral system. This invloves relieving restrictions in the bones of the head, sacrum (a triangular bone in the lower back), and spinal column. As restrictions are released this enhances the exchange of fluid (cerebrospinal fluid) within the central nervous system. And when the central nervous system is functioning better.........so is the rest of the body and mind.

By using CST to enhance the body's own natural healing process, it can be used as a preventive health measure to bolster resistance to disease, and for helping people with a wide range of healthcare challenges associated with pain and dysfunction.

Reiki

Reiki is an alternative form of hands on healing. The name Rei (universal life) and ki (energy) originated in Japan in the late 1800's. The founder, Mikao Usui is said to have discovered Reiki during a long period of meditation and contemplation.

It is now widely accepted that our body's are comprised of energy, and that the body is capable of healing itself.....Just think of the last time you had a small cut or the common cold.

The life force energy of Reiki enhances the body's ability to heal by removing energy blocks and strengthening the 'ki' that is already present. Reiki can work on the physical, the psychological and emotional well being of an individual, helping the life force energy flow more freely.

Each session is unique to the individual receiving it. Clients often remark about how relaxed and calm they feel after a session and how incredibly they sleep after their treatment.

It is a wonderful way to connect with yourself and promote wellness in your life.
